While most trips circumnavigate this iconic mountain range by foot, we’ve taken it a step further to experience its spectacular geography and explore the history, culture and cuisine of France, Italy and Switzerland with expert local guides. In 12 days , you’ll explore Chamonix and some of the region’s oldest and most beautiful towns as you circumnavigate Mont Blanc on foot, in a sea kayak and by bike.

Our packing list for Mont Blanc should be used as a guide only and is not intended to be a complete packing list. Any other items that you wish to pack are at your own discretion, however, you should attempt to follow our suggested luggage guide.

Additional Information

  • Please note that Go Active Tours acts as Travel Agent only and any holidays booked via us will be delivered by a third party and your booking contract will be directly with them.
  • Please note that unless otherwise stated, flights are not included within the tour package. However, we can arrange your inbound and outbound ATOL protected flights if you would like. Please get in touch with us with your requirements.
  • If you’re flying in on the first day of the trip, a tour representative will meet you at Geneva Airport (GVA) at 2 PM and transfer you to your accommodation in Chamonix, France. If you are already in Chamonix, you will meet your trip leader and the rest of your tour group in the lobby of the joining hotel at 6 PM.
    On the last day of your trip, you will be dropped off at Geneva Airport in time for afternoon flights. You can book flights home departing anytime after 12 noon on this day.
  • It is important that you have current full travel insurance including personal medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
  • This trip includes a few hikes so please be aware that you should be in a reasonable level of fitness in order to fully enjoy yourself and make the most of this tour.
  • The accommodation for your trip will be in comfortable hotels all with en-suite bathrooms and amazing views. If you’re travelling by yourself and would like to be guaranteed your own room in the hotels for the duration of the trip, a single supplement rate will apply.
  • We can not take any responsibility for any illnesses or missed meals & tours due to an illness.

Medical Note: "We suggest you consult your GP and inform them about where you intend to travel and the activities you wish to participate in with regards to your own health and any medication you are taking and any vaccinations you may require. Where extreme sports are undertaken both special medical insurance and a letter from your GP may be required."
