Beautiful Borneo is made up of territories belonging to the South-Eastern Asian countries of Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. This country is home to one of the oldest rainforests in the world at an estimated 140 million years old. Boasting an amazing array of wildlife, this is one of the few remaining natural habitats for the endangered Bornean Orangutan as well as other endemic forest species such as the East Sumatran Rhino, Borneo Elephant and Bornean Clouded Leopard.
The forests, rivers, waterfalls and nature reserves visited on our tours will allow plenty of opportunities for you to view all the wildlife available in the area. You can also experience impressive geological formations in the form of stalactites and stalagmites and many species of plants if you venture into the incredible caves found in Borneo.You can also spend some time with the indigenous Iban people and learn about the rich history and culture of the region and partake in sampling some local delicacies prepared by your hosts.
