"To visit Morocco is still like turning the pages of some illuminated Persian manuscript all embroidered with bright shapes and subtle lines."
- Edith Warton
Your first thought of Morocco may be as a desert country but it is so much more than that! From the long untouched beaches of the Atlantic coast at Essaouira to the exotic and bustling medieval souks of the Imperial cities and the luxury Riads of Marrakech and Fes to the incredible stillness and peace of the Sahara oasis and dunes – Morocco offers a feast for all the senses just waiting to be explored.
For a sense of history, there are mosaics and villas of ancient Roman cities and generations-old tanneries in the medinas, Berber citadels and farming in the mountains that has remained unchanged for centuries. The High Atlas is a trekking paradise with the highest peak of North Africa and other mountain ranges such as the Cedar Forests of the Middle Atlas. The rocky Saghro offers a rarely explored wilderness where Barbary apes, Lammegeier and Hoopoe are just a small portion of the wildlife you may see. Come and explore all the incredible sights, sounds and smells that Morocco has to offer!
